Cabin Passenger Notes

  1. Adolfo Dollero (11 November 1872 - 2 September 1936), son of Tancredi Dollero and Ernestina Cane, was an Italian-Mexican historian who traveled and lived in many Latin American countries. He married Maria Luisa Paoletti, a countess of Rodoretto from Piemonte, Italy.
  2. Leopoldo (Luigi) Fregoli (2 July 1867 in Rome—26 November 1936 in Viareggio) was a stage star and Italian actor. He was thought to be the greatest, most versatile quick-change artist of his day. Fregoli was famous for his extraordinary ability in impersonations and quickness in exchanging roles—so much so that while performing in London in the 1890s, unkind rumors spread that there was more than one Fregoli.
  3. George Harwood (14 September 1845 – 7 November 1912) was a British businessman and Liberal Party politician. He was the second son of Richard Harwood, who founded a firm of cotton spinners and was once Mayor of Bolton and twice Mayor of Salford.
  4. Luigi Molinari (1866–1918) was an Italian anarchist, journalist, and lawyer best known as the publisher of the libertarian periodical L’Università Popolare and his support for Ferrer Modern Schools in Italy.
  5. Edward Wetherill (?-1908) was a prominent abolitionist in Philadelphia, a staunch Quaker, son of John Wetherill and Susan Garrison, and grandson of Samuel Wetherill, founder of the Free Quakers. He, along with his family and wife, Anna Thorpe Wetherill, helped African-American slaves escape from the South and found work for them in the North from the 1850s through the Civil War.
