Ambrosia makes Best of War Conditions (March 1915)
The Ambrosia Chocolate Company of Milwaukee, the progressive chocolate manufacturers of the West, have been running overtime since December 1, supplying Cocoa and chocolate for export to European countries.
Because of the war, English, Swiss and Dutch manufacturers of Cocoa have been unable to supply the neutral countries with Cocoa. They are now looking to American manufacturers for their supply.
The Ambrosia Chocolate Company, an extensive advertiser in foreign countries, has been offered more business than its capacity warrants in the line of Cocoa. Most of the shipments they make are forwarded in Danish ships to Copenhagen, from where the Cocoa is sent by rail to some neutral countries.
