Benj. Stearns Co. Decide to Remain Downtown. After carefully weighing all sides of the uptown movement, Benj. Stearns & Co. have decided to remain downtown at their present location, 616-618 Broadway. This house has secured the services of Albert Grimm to take charge of their hat department. Mr. Grimm for the past seventeen years has been hat buyer for C. Callman & Co. Assisting Mr. Grimm in a selling capacity, are Max Strauss and Morris Brill, also of the late firm of C. Callman Company. This, together with the fact that Mr. Brandt is at present in Europe seeking novelties in flowers and feathers, for Spring, gives the house of Benj. Stearns & Co. an added attraction in the buyer's eye that is seeking something new and novel to stimulate his trade. (Millinery Trade Review, Vo. 41, No. 1, Januuary 1916.)
