Built by New York Shipbuilding Co., Camden, N. J. Tonnage: 13,869. Dimensions: 516' x 72' (535' o.l.). Twin-screw, 18 knots. Four steam turbines. Two masts and one funnel. Passengers: 300 first and 325 third class. Commenced service as President Harding in August 1922. Renamed: Ville de Bruges (1939) Antwerp Navigation Co. Fate: Bombed and sunk by Nazi aircraft in River Scheldt, May 14, 1940. Previously Named: Ex-President Taft (1922), ex-Lone Star State (1922). Sister ship: President Roosevelt.
