Built by Scott's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Greenock, Scotland. Tonnage: 8,991. Dimensions: 470' x 56'. Twin- screw, 1434 knots. Triple expansion engines. Two masts and one funnel. Passengers: 300 second and 1,000 third. Fate: Lost by stranding near Halifax, August 1, 1917, while being used as a hospital ship. Note: Quite similar to her running mate the Saturnia.

Built by Fairfield Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Glasgow, Scotland. Tonnage: 13,475. Dimensions: 525' x 66'. Twin- screw, 1534 knots. Steam turbines. Two masts and one funnel. Maiden voyage: Glasgow-Quebec-Montreal, April 1925. Renamed: (a) Empire Brent (1946), (b) Captain Cook (1952). Service: Served as emigrant ship to Australia and New Zealand. Fate: Sold to British shipbreakers. Sister ship: Athenia.
