Built by Palmer's Shipbuilding & Iron Co., Newcastle, England. Tonnage: 2,869. Dimensions: 335' x 42'. Propulsion: Single-screw, 10 knots. Inverted type engines. Masts and Funnels: Two masts and one funnel. Additional Features: Clipper bow. Iron hull. Maiden voyage: Liverpool-New York, April 14, 1867. Ownership Change: Sold to the Warren Line in 1875. Services: Placed in their Liverpool-Boston service. Modifications: Re-engined with compounds. Renamed: San Ignacio de Loyola (1886). Spanish. Fate: Scrapped in 1908. Sister ships: Chicago, Colorado and Manhattan.

 

Minnesota (1901) Atlantic Transport Line

Built by John Brown & Co., Clydebank, Glasgow, Scotland. Tonnage: 11,667. Dimensions: 561' x 60'. Propulsion: Twin-screw, 15 knots. Quadruple expansion engines. Masts and Funnels: Four masts and two funnels. First Voyage: First voyage as the tourist class liner Minnesota was made in 1927 between London and New York. Ownership Change: Sold to Thos. W. Ward, Ltd. for scrap in October 1929. Fate: Broken up in 1930. Previously Named: Zeeland (1927), Northland (1920), Zeeland (1915).
