Built by Caird & Co., Greenock, Scotland. Tonnage: 2,394. Dimensions: 301' x 39'. Propulsion: Single-screw, 10 knots. Inverted engines. Masts and Funnels: Two masts and one funnel. Iron hull. Maiden voyage: Bremen-Southampton-Baltimore, March 8, 1869. Modifications: Re-engined with compounds by 1881. Ownership Change: Sold to Argentine Government in 1894. Renamed: (a) Amazzone (1894), (b) Rio Santa Cruz (1897). Sister ship: Leipzig.
Ohio (1873) American (Keystone) Line
Built by Wm. Cramp & Sons, Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Philadelphia, Pa. Tonnage: 3,104. Dimensions: 360' x 42'. Propulsion: Single-screw, 13 knots. Compound engines. Masts and Funnels: Two masts and one funnel. Iron hull. Passengers: 76 cabin and 875 third class. Maiden voyage: Philadelphia-Liverpool in August 1873. Modifications: Triple expansion engines in 1887. Speed increased to 14 knots. Services: Made some New York sailings. Ownership Change: Sold to White Star Steamship Company of Seattle. Fate: Stranded in Finlayson Channel, British Columbia, August 26, 1909, with the loss of several lives. Sister ships: Indiana, Illinois and Pennsylvania. Owner: American Steamship Company.

Built by Akt. Ges. "Weser", Bremen, Germany. Tonnage: 18,940. Dimensions: 590' x 72'. Propulsion: Twin-screw, 17 knots. Quadruple expansion engines. Masts and Funnels: Two masts and two funnels. Passengers: 230 first, 523 second, 690 third. Original Build: Laid down as the München for North German Lloyd. However never in their service, as the vessel was acquired by the British. Renamed Ohio in 1923. Maiden voyage: Hamburg-Southampton-Cherbourg-New York, April 4, 1923. Renamed: Albertic (1927). Fate: Scrapped in 1934.
