Things You Can Buy on Board Cunard Ships at Sea, At the Shop

Once the gangway has gone and you have settled down to enjoy your voyage it often happens in unpacking you discover that some item of everyday use, perhaps a collar stud or a comb, has been left behind. These are things you can obtain in the shops on board all Cunard liners. And in the pages of this booklet they are listed for your ready reference.

But we thought you would like to know something more about these shops, about the showcases and the great variety of things that can be bought at sea.

When you travel Cunard fine things from fine shops and manufacturers on both sides of the Atlantic are within two minutes' walk of your cabin. Much as we would like to, it is impossible in a brief introduction to review all you can obtain from the shops and showcases on board—for all items listed in this booklet between pages 5 and 22 the attendant in the ship's shop is at your service.

Between pages 22 and 26, will be found a list of the goods displayed in the showcases in the First and Cabin Class accommodation of the two QUEENS and MAURETANIA and in the First Class only of other vessels.

These showcases are only available to the passenger travelling in the accommodation in which the cases are located.

In addition to the Company's shops and the showcases, Messrs. Hunt & Winterbotham have shops in the First Class accommodation of the two QUEEN liners where their worsted materials and ladies' knitwear may be purchased by a First Class passenger.

Austin Reed, the men's outfitters, also have shops in the First and Cabin Class accommodation in these two vessels; purchases from these shops may only be made by passengers travelling in the accommodation in which the shops are located.

Whether you travel First, Cabin or Tourist Class you will find the 35mm. Kodaslides available in all shops, an excellent souvenir of your voyage. The slides depict, in full color, the passenger accommodation and exterior of each liner.
