SS President Harrison Vintage Menu Collection
Vintage menus for the SS President Harrison in the GG Archives collection represent the souvenir breakfast, luncheon, dinner, daily, private party, special occasion, and specialty menus provided to the passengers during their voyage. Many of these souvenir menus have disappeared over the years.
1926-10-09 SS President Harrison Welcome Dinner Postcard Menu
Vintage Welcome Dinner Postcard Menu from 9 October 1926 on board the SS President Harrison of the Dollar Steamship Line featured Breast of Guinea Chicken en Cocotte with Noodles Polonaise, Prime Ribs of Beef, au Jus, and Bavarois Religeuse for Dessert.
Our collection contains a sampling of menus initially produced and printed by the steamship lines. They are often used to illustrate family history books for immigrants from this time.
