RMS Asturias Vintage Menu Collection
Vintage menus for the RMS Asturias in the GG Archives collection represent the souvenir breakfast, luncheon, dinner, daily, private party, special occasion, and specialty menus provided to the passengers during their voyage. Many of these souvenir menus have disappeared over the years.
1935-08-22 RMS Asturias Farewell Dinner Menu
Vintage Farewell Dinner Menu and Music Program from 22 August 1935 on board the RMS Asturias of the Royal Mail Lines featured Scotch Grouse, Smithane, Braised York Ham au Madère, and Canapé Charlemagne for dessert.
Our collection contains a sampling of menus initially produced and printed by the steamship lines. They are often used to illustrate family history books for immigrants from this time.
