SS Gripsholm Vintage Menu Collection
Vintage menus for the SS Gripsholm in the GG Archives collection represent the souvenir breakfast, luncheon, dinner, daily, private party, special occasion, and specialty menus provided to the passengers during their voyage. Many of these souvenir menus have disappeared over the years.
1950-06-29 M.S. Gripsholm Farewell Dinner Menu

1953-10-25 MS Gripsholm Dinner Menu
Vintage Dinner Menu from Sunday, 25 October 1953 on board the MS Gripsholm of the Swedish American Line featured Roast Saddle of Lamb à l'Orloff; Fillet of Elk Forestière; and Mocca Cake for Dessert.
Our collection contains a sampling of menus initially produced and printed by the steamship lines. They are often used to illustrate family history books for immigrants from this time.
