SS Aurania Vintage Menu Collection
Vintage menus for the SS Aurania in the GG Archives collection represent the souvenir breakfast, luncheon, dinner, daily, private party, special occasion, and specialty menus provided to the passengers during their voyage. Many of these souvenir menus have disappeared over the years.
1929-06-28 SS Aurania Farewell Dinner Menu
Vintage Farewell Dinner Menu from 28 June 1929 on board the SS Aurania of the Cunard Line featured Suprême of Brett, Cardinal, Fillets of Lake Trout, Meunière, and Petits Fours for dessert. Many autographs were included with this Menu.
Our collection contains a sampling of menus initially produced and printed by the steamship lines. They are often used to illustrate family history books for immigrants from this time.
