Built by John Elder & Co., Glasgow, Scotland. Tonnage: 5,524. Dimensions: 456' x 48'. Propulsion: Single-screw, 15 knots. Compound engines. Masts and Funnels: Four masts and two funnels. Note: Vessel was on charter from Orient Line. Made several sailings for Anchor Line, in 1884.
