Captain Wilhelm Willigerod, who formerly commanded the Ems, and will control one of the three new steamers which Messrs. John Elder and Co. are constructing, is the oldest of this group of captains, although only forty-seven himself. And he doesn't even look that old. He is a man of a hardy, robust physique.
