The '79 PIPERS: More Airplane For The Dollar. (1979 Brochure)

Modern technology … with a tradition of enduring value.

Piper Aircraft Corporation has pioneered in the advancement of general aviation for more than 41 years. Today the Piper line of aircraft includes 27 different models, ranging from two-place trainers and agricultural applicators to the turbo prop Cheyennes which provide efficient and luxurious transportation for business travelers throughout the world.

The 1979 PIPERS - More Airplane for the Dollar

In the modern Piper line, equal emphasis is placed on the development and improvement of single- and twin-engine models.

Numerous Pipers are leaders in their respective classes. The Archer II is the most popular model in its class.

The high performance Dakota offers industry leadership for economical range-payload capability.

The four single-engine retractables. the Arrow IV, Turbo Arrow IV. Lance II and Turbo Lance II are also leaders.

Buyer preference for Piper high-performance twin-engine aircraft is also very strong.

These include the Piper Navajos. which account for more than half of the cabin class aircraft in this category being sold today. The Aztec F. a world favorite, has enjoyed a strong resurgence with a number of popular new features.

The Seneca II outsells its competitors in the medium light twin class, four to one. Also for 1979 is the exciting new, economical, low-cost light twin Seminole which is enjoying immediate popularity.

The new turbo prop Cheyennes have quickly earned an outstanding reputation for excellent performance and unequalled operating economies.

This brochure provides brief information on these and all other single- and twin-engine Pipers.

Piper has traditionally been a leader in flight training and today, through a world wide network of Piper Flite Centers, student pilots are offered the most professional flight training curriculum available, including sophisticated audiovisual techniques and a new modern low wing trainer.

In addition to basic pilot instruction. the Piper Flite Centers offer a complete range of Transition and Challenge Courses to upgrade pilot proficiency. These include Transition to Advanced Aircraft,

Night Flying and Co-Pilot Challenge Courses, plus advanced courses that qualify pilots for the Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating and Commercial Certificate. Many Flite Centers also offer training for Instructor and Airline Transport Pilot Certificates.

Just about all Piper Flite Center Dealers provide charter service in new Piper single- and twin-engine aircraft. These airplanes can transport you and your family or business associates to thousands of airports not served by the airlines.

Regardless of the number who fly you pay only one price. You schedule your time of departure; if you plan to return the same day -- or the following -- the pilot will wait for you for only a small additional charge.
