A steerage contract over years old, for one adult going from Le Havre to New York on the clipper ship "Admiral" of the Vanderbilt European Steamship Line dated 4 May 1854. Printed in French and German, a synopsis of the terms and conditions along with the contract information have been translated in English.

White Star Line Memorandum of Prepaid Steerage Passage on the RMS Britannic, Ticket Dated 29 May 1880.

A Memorandum of a Draft like the one shown below from 1880 was used as a receipt - often for funds sent to immigrants still in the Old Country waiting to come to America.

PARTIES DESIRING to send for their friends from the OLD COUNTRY, can obtain Ticket, etc. by the WHITE STAR LINE on application at the Company's Offices, or any of the Company's Agents throughout the United States and Canada.

1895 Dutch Steerage Passage Contract on the Cunard Line for a German Immigrant. The Voyage Took Him from Rotterdam to New York via Liverpool.

Original steamship ticket contract for Heinrich Hermes, 21, of Germany who arrived in New York on 8 June 1895 aboard the Cunard Steamship Lucania (for the Liverpool to New York via Queenstown portion of his journey.) He was processed as an immigrant through Ellis Island. He was a Laborer and his intended destination was New York.

Immigrant Passage Contract - Sweden to New York, Cunard Line Campania 1897

Steamship steerage passage contract for a 25 year-old Swedish servant, immigrating to America from Gothenburg, Sweden on 7 April 1897. She took a small coastal steamer from Gothenburg to Grimsby, England, a train from Hull to Liverpool and boarded the Cunard steamship Campania for the voyage to New York arriving on 17 April 1897.

Steerage Passenger Contract for Passage on the Cunard Line Steamer RMS Saxonia, Departing from Liverpool for Boston, Dated 21 April 1903.

His passage took him from Frederikshavn to Liverpool by steamship; Liverpool to Boston in the Cunard Steamship Saxonia; and train fare from Boston to West Branch, PA.

The Bottom half of the Passage Contract is missing but contained the terms of the voyage. I suspect the this passenger traveled in Steerage.
